We were so excited to go to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. It was our first visit to the museum and we had such a great time. Were blown away from the start. What a beautiful museum filled with memories and incredible history. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is definitely a must see with your family.
The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Their super large collection of aircrafts was really impressive. So many of them were flown by Canadians and the Canadian military services from the beginning of World War II to now. It was fascinating to be able to see and touch so many of airplanes. The kids loved the Flight Simulators and the fact that they got to pick which aircraft they wanted to fly. We definitely had a few flights full of rolls and loops.
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Movie Set
This museum looked like it came right out of a movie. Guess what? We find out that Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum has hosted many different films and videos. They hosted films like The Ring and several episodes of different series like Flashpoint and Covert Affair. All of us enjoyed going outside on the apron accompanied by a tour guide. We got to climb and visit the B-17 Sentimental Journey which will be at the Canadian Warplane Museum until July 6, 2014 Everyone had a beautiful day at The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and we are already planning our next visit.
The museum is located at 9280 Airport Road in Mount Hope, Ontario, right at Hamilton International Airport. It is open 362 days a year from 9 am to 5 pm. Make sure to visit their website at warplane.com. Follow us on social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest for even more airplane fun!
