Treehouse Big Day Out 2
We are thrilled to let you know that the Treehouse Big Day Out festival is coming back for a second time! Taking place on September 12 and 13 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, the second annual Treehouse Big Day Out will offer two separate ticketed events each day– a morning event starting from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and an afternoon event from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
We had such an amazing time last year that we can’t wait to see all the activities that Treehouse has planned for us this year. They told us that we can expect even more activities this year, including Costume Character Meet-and-Greets, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts, Interactive Games and of course the must-see performances by The Wiggles and Splash’N Boots. The Nelvana digital play station featuring free WiFi will also be available to download the new TreehouseGO app. Also all attending kids will receive a festival program full of activities and colouring pages for even more big fun at home! If you would like to purchase tickets for Treehouse Big Day Out Festival, you can purchase them on Ticketmaster. This event also will be televised on Treehouse later this year.
Treehouse is owned by Corus Entertainment Inc. and is Canada’s #1 channel for young children. Treehouse offers premium programming and a trusted, safe environment for little ones and their parents. Delivering a strong balance of educational, imaginative and entertaining programs, Treehouse provides high-quality children’s series. Hit shows include Bubble Guppies, Trucktown, Dora and Friends, Mike the Knight and Toopy & Binoo.
For your information: Strollers are not permitted inside the amphitheater but are allowed in the ‘Kids Zone’. Since the festival takes place outside, I suggest that you dress appropriately according to weather conditions. It can be windy and sometimes colder near the water so I will definitely bring some warm clothes. It would also be a good idea to bring sunscreen, hats, and umbrellas.
