5 Must Try Fast Food Restaurants on The West Coast
Traveling has always been a huge part of my life and one of my favorite areas to fly to is the West Coast! Who doesn’t like warm weather and beautiful sites? Whenever I travel, eating at new restaurants is always something I look forward to. It doesn’t necessarily have to be fancy or a sit down restaurant either. When traveling with the kids, it is definitely easier to try out fast food restaurants. It can be cheaper and you can surely find some amazing foods in fast food places. They might not be the healthiest options, but they can be so delicious! On my latest trip to the West Coast, I have found that these 5 particular fast food places were really great and were serving good food. Let’s check out my 5 Must Try Fast Food Restaurants on the West Coast.
Carl’s Jr.: If you live in the Midwest region of America, you may have tried Hardee’s. Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. are basically the same restaurant- they have the same gold star logo and they have really similar menu items. I personally think that Carl’s Jr. is just a little bit better. It is your typical fast food restaurant with burgers, fries, and your mix of chicken tenders and such. They have high quality, really great tasting burgers and their fries are natural cut, exactly how we like them!
In-N-Out: If you are going to try only one of these restaurants from this list, make it In-n-Out! So basically, In-n-Out has a very simple menu. You can get a single burger, a double burger, fries, drinks, and shakes! Super simple but so amazing! Their burgers are so delicious because they have that special sauce that In-n-Out is famous for. I love to go there to get a burger, fries, and a strawberry shake!
Del Taco: Del Taco is basically the Taco Bell of the West Coast! Although the West Coast also has Taco Bell, Del Taco gives them a run for their money and is actually preferred amongst many West Coast Natives! They have all sorts of Mexican-American foods such as tacos, nachos, and burritos. They also have an American menu featuring different burgers and fries.
Jack in The Box: Jack in The Box has a little bit of everything. They serve breakfast filled with all sorts of sandwiches, bacon, and sausages. Their lunch and dinner menu consists of burgers, chicken, tacos, and even egg rolls! Definitely a great place to go if you’re craving a bit of everything. Jack in The Box has been expanding across the US, but they originated on the West Coast.
On the Beach Fish: This isn’t a specific restaurant because you can hit up any beach in California and get their local fish. There is nothing like freshly caught and locally prepared fish! I love to go to the pier to get some fish and chips along with some amazing clam chowder!
If you ever find yourself in the West Coast, you should definitely visit these great restaurants! You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a great meal and these places prove that!

Sounds delish! AND IF I ever get to the West Coast for holiday, I will definately try some of these out. I would love to be in the position to get to travel to the West coast. It would be so much fun and amazing to see and do so many things there. I love the ocean and anywhere around water…grew up with our family doing things on and around the water. I know I would love the fish restaurant as I love most all sea foods too. And these are great places to go when on a budget too.
