5 Questions answered about Summer Weddings

5 Questions answered about Summer Weddings!

Are you planning on getting married this summer? If so, there may be some questions you have about getting married. This post is great to get those questions answered.

#1. Will the weather ruin my wedding?
Summer months can get hot, especially depending on where you live. If you plan on getting married in the summer months, it’s best to do it indoors or at least under a tent. You don’t want your guests sweating to death under 100-degree heat. Beach weddings are always great because of the nice breeze coming from the ocean.

#2. Will the food keep?
If you hire a caterer that knows what they are doing, they will know how to keep the food. Let’s just say that you will need a lot of ice to keep everything super cool. Which is fine, right? The cooler the better when it comes to making sure your food is going to last.

#3. Do I send out save the dates?
Some people think that because it’s summer, people are more open with their schedules. This is far from the truth. Make sure you send out save the dates, so you have guests at your wedding. Most people have to put in a request for time off of work, so save the dates are vital, no matter what time of year you’re getting married.

#4. What kind of clothing should my bridal party wear?
When it comes down to it, you want your bridal party to be super comfortable. Asking your groomsmen to wear super heavy tuxes can cause them to get super-hot. Keep clothing attire in mind with the ladies as well, you want to make sure they are super comfortable.

#5. How will I keep guests comfortable?
There’s no denying the fact that it can be super-hot in the summer months. To keep your guests super comfortable, make sure you do some of the following. Provide fans, umbrellas, sunblock, and anything else that can ensure they don’t get sunburnt or too overly hot.

Getting married in the summer can be FUN and exciting. Follow these tips to make sure everyone stays cool and happy during your wedding. Do you have any other questions for summer weddings?

The weather is the number one thing every bride should be thinking about if she’s having a summer wedding. If her gown is too big, it may get really hot if the wedding is outdoors. I was at a summer wedding where the bride almost fainted because she was so hot during her ceremony.

I got married in the summer and boy oh boy was it hot! We did not get married under a tent and I totally wasn’t thinking and had my girls in long gowns that were on the thicker side. for the guests I did provide them with their own personal fan in case they needed some cooling off 🙂 and there was a lot of trees that provided great shade

I was always scared to have a summer wedding. Between other stuff going on and the heat in a big dress and tux so we chose a fall wedding with the colors 🙂
