Over the years I had the opportunity to see many Cirque du Soleil shows. I still remember when the first permanent show Mystère took Las Vegas by storm. It was clear that the Cirque du Soleil was going to be here to stay. One of my favourite Cirque du Soleil shows so far was ‘O’ that I had the opportunity to see at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

This time I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to see TORUK – The First Flight. Inspired by James Cameron’s AVATAR, TORUK – The First Flight will emerge you in a breathtaking world of imagination years before the events portrayed in the movie AVATAR.

Through cutting-edge visuals and its 180 degree panoramic view, you will feel like you are a part of the show. The colorful shimmering and flamboyant costumes will by themselves make you feel like you are in a completely different universe. Pay attention to the costume details as they are all different and will also tell part of the story. When a natural catastrophe threatens to destroy the sacred Tree of Souls, two fearless Omaticaya boys embark in a long journey to find Toruk, the red and orange predator that rules the Pandoran sky. Toruk is vital to the Na’vi clans’ sense of destiny and has the ability to help save the sacred Tree of Souls.

    I LOVE the circus and more importantly Cirque de Soleil! I’ve never been lucky enough to attend a show unfortunately despite my few years as attending circus school locally with an instructor from the Moscow Circus/Cirque de Soleil. I was a flyer – flying trapeze and teeter totter were my 2 favourites. I would love to take my hubby & 2 girls to experience the magic of Cirque!
