Easter Chocolate Shot Glasses. The Flying Couponer.

Easter Chocolate Shot Glasses.

We can already feel it in the air! Spring will be here in no time with all it’s wonders. Spring and Easter have so much in common- they represent the rebirth of nature and the promise of new life. Many families celebrate Easter by going to church, enjoying a meal, and having fun with the kids in the kitchen.

To celebrate this blossoming time of the year, we create these fun Easter Edible Chocolate Glasses Shots to give away to our family and friends. There is nothing easier than to melt chocolate and poar it in molds of all sorts. With the growing popularity of colorful and sweet shot glasses, I decided to use the Wilton glass shot silicone mold. It is not only super easy to make your own shot glasses but they make awfully good looking Easter treats too.

What you need to make these edible Easter Chocolate Shot Glasses:

Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate!
4 to 6 small bags of Wilton Candy Melts. You can use any colors that you can find and even mix them!

Filling: Chocolate eggs, Smarties or any other candies.

How to Make Easter Chocolate Shot Glasses:

Place your candy melts in a bowl and place it in the microwave on defrost for one minute. Stir and heat it for 30 seconds at the time, stirring every time until the chocolate is melted and smooth. If you are using different colors, you will need to use different bowls.

Using a spoon or a piping bag, slowly fill each shot glass mold. Gently tap the mold on the counter to make sure that the mold is completely filled. Doing this will also help to eliminate any bubbles.

Place the mold in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Remove your mold from the freezer and slowly pop the shot glasses out by twisting the glass a little to help so release the middle. It’s magical!
