Oats are filled with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant. Additionally, one cup of cooked oatmeal contains approximately 150 calories, four grams of soluble and insoluble fiber, and six grams of protein. In order words, it can definitely help you to stay healthy and even lose weight by keeping you feeling fuller longer.

Because of all the amazing benefits of oats, I decided to share with you how to make the best oatmeal cookies. These oatmeal cookies are definitely loaded with nutrients and flavor. When eating them, you will get that amazing feeling of indulging without having to worry about your health. Therefore, they are an absolute guilt-free food full of yumminess. Not to mention that they are perfect for busy families because they can be eaten on the go and at the ball park. In conclusion, it’s a no brainer. I say go for it. Make some now!

Healthy Breakfast Ideas: Oatmeal Cookies

Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup oats

1 egg

1 cup, mashed bananas

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp vanilla

1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

 

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Spray a cookie sheet with canola oil

In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda

Mash bananas

Add vanilla to the mashed bananas

Add egg and beat mixture until light in texture

Gradually add in flour to the  mixture

Add oats and chocolate chips (optional)

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown

Cool oatmeal cookies for 5 minutes

Enjoy!
