The Pirate Fairy Review

The Pirate Fairy Review #Disney.

Thinker Bell has always been one of our favorite Disney’s characters. As soon as we saw the trailer for The Pirate Fairy, we knew we had to watch it. Once my kids found out we were going to receive a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack in the mail to review, they couldn’t sleep at night anymore!

In this beautiful Disney’s movie we get to know a new character from Pixie Hollow named Zarina, a dust keeper fairy.  Zarina has a curious mind that gets her into big trouble. The Pirate Fairy is filled with fun adventures and nice lessons for kids to learn. We really enjoyed watching it and would recommend it to both boys and girls.

We also really enjoyed the bonus features included on the Blu-Ray. These features answered so many questions that we had about Tinker Bell and Peter Pan. Who knows how Tinker Bell and Peter Pan met? The bonus features include: Second Star To The Right: The Legacy of Neverland; Croc-U-Mentary; Deleted Scenes with Filmakers Introductions; The Making Of “The Frigate That Flies”; Animated Shorts; Sing-Along Songs and Info.

 About The Pirate Fairy

From the world of Peter Pan comes The Pirate Fairy, a swashbuckling new adventure about Zarina (voice of Christina Hendricks), a smart and ambitious dust-keeper fairy who’s captivated by Blue Pixie Dust and its endless possibilities. When Zarina’s wild ideas get her into trouble, she flees Pixie Hollow and joins forces with the scheming pirates of Skull Rock, who make her captain of their ship. Tinker Bell (voice of Mae Whitman) and her friends must embark on an epic adventure to find Zarina, and together they go sword-to-sword with the band of pirates led by a cabin boy named James (voice of Tom Hiddleston), who’ll soon be known as Captain Hook, himself. Enjoy the laughter, heart, magic and thrills of The Pirate Fairy.

My kids loved this movie, three boys (3,8,9) and a girl (7) – hard to keep the little one still through anything though lol…

My boys and girl enjoyed watching this movie, even more than the other Tinkerbell movies. The boys really like the pirate scenes, and I ordered the blue pixie dust powder puff offer from the inside of the dvd!

So cool! My daughter would love this! She’s a huge Disney fan and if it has anything to do with fairies, even better!

I absolutely loved this movie. We had a chance to view it as well and it was another great addition to the Pixie Hollow series. I loved seeing the new characters and my daughter loved that there was a pirate fairy, thinking this might be a Halloween costume for her this year, lol!
