Educate Yourself During Earth Month #StreamTeam!
We love watching Diego and Elmo on Netflix with our children because they always learn something new. April being the Earth Month, it is the perfect occasion to share with you our favorite episodes: Go Diego Go “Rescue of Red-Eyed Tree Frogs” and Sesame Street “The Camouflage Challenge.” It is so nice to see our children discovering how important it is to appreciate the planet.
We also enjoy watching documentaries on Netflix. We recently watched Addicted to Plastic and FOOD, inc. We are also getting our kids interested in Earth Month by watching documentaries with animals like David Attenborough: Wildlife Specials.
This picture showcase my kids’ artwork made in recycled materials. Watching Go Diego Go “Rescue of Red-Eyed Tree Frogs” was really an eye-opener for them. Recreating a scene from this episode helped us to reinforce the message we just learned as a family.

We have Netflix and we love the variety it has! There are a couple of documentaries you have listed that we haven’t watched yet! I’ll make sure to watch Addicted to Plastic and FOOD Inc.

We have Netflix but tend to watch the same shows over and over – thanks for broadening my horizons a bit. There are lots of great shows on there that we’ve yet to discover.

Those sound like great shows and great ways to raise children’s awareness of environmental issues.
