Paddington DVD/BluRay Giveaway
This is what I call going down memory lane. Paddington will be released on DVD on April 28th, 2015! Yes! You are not familiar with the sweet and charming Paddington? You don’t have to be! You can absolutely enjoy it too.
Paddington is the incredible story of a bear who traveled from Peru to London, England to find a new home. It didn’t take long for a loving mother to notice him at the London Paddington station. “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” was written on a label around the bear’s neck. She decided with her family to care for the bear and offer him a temporary home. Pretty sure I would had done the same thing! Haha!
Here comes the pretty villain museum taxidermist (Nicole Kidman) on her high heels. She brings a sinister edge but not enough to scare…a bear or anynone by that matter. The father played by Paul King (Downton Abbey) adds a really nice British feel and an undeniable touch of humour that can be enjoyed by everyone.
Paddington is such a wonder- cute, funny and warm. You just wish you could cuddle him right from your television. Super classy, entertaining, not childish at all, this a movie that your whole family will enjoy. Paddington’s amusing mishaps often rely on his cute naiveté. I have seen the very first episodes of Paddington on television in the 70’s. They were 30 episodes of 5 minutes staring an animated puppet. So many good memories!
Paddington will be released on DVD/ BluRay on April 28th. “No bears were harmed in the making of this film.”

I grew up reading the Paddington stories, and had a Paddington Bear in my room that my Dad brought me back from his trip to England when we went for work. Now my daughter has it in her room, and we read my old books, plus we have collected some new ones from a trip to England as well as from Chapters. We also visited the Paddington statue at the Paddington train station in England. I would love to win to watch the movie with my husband and kids.
