Being officially back to school, I am really hoping that my kids won’t get sick too often. Last year they were sick every month, making us sick too. Is there anything more chaotic than trying to keep up with life while the whole family is sick? No.
This year, we are more than ready to face these nasty illnesses. We can’t prevent them all, but there are lot of things that we can do to avoid being sick. Hand-washing has been in the centre of many of our discussion this month. Getting the kids in the habit of scrubbing up effectively is so important. We remind them to sing “Happy Birthday” twice before rinsing. We also have been super active with the kids, karate classes, skating, swimming, and biking. Regular exercise definitely reduces the number of times our kids get sick. We can’t also omit the fact that physical activity stimulates the brain chemicals and help to feel relaxed and happy.
We added to our children’s diet the ND Shake Kids. These shakes are customized with multivitamins and minerals for the specific growing needs of children from 5 to 12 year old. The taste is delicious and I have no problem with getting my kids to drink them. I can’t even resist their shakes myself as they are full of parsley, kale and super-fruits. I really like that there is nothing artificial in them. It is pure plant proteins, greens, and antioxidants. Can you tell that we are all set for a healthy and happy school year??

This is one product that I keep hearing about, which I need to buy! I have such a picky eater on my hands. This would give me a little piece of mind. Also, the Calm tincture looks interesting!
