Balancing your blood sugar #ONatural
Have you ever experienced sleepiness after a meal or in the afternoon? I sure have, many times! Blood sugar is the glucose that is circulating in our blood providing energy to our cells. If the balance isn’t right you might feel tired, nervous and even dizzy.
November is World Diabetes Month and I thought that it would be a great opportunity to talk about blood sugar. We are trying to eat well and to stay active but it is not easy to keep our consumption of refined sugar low. My family definitely has a sweet tooth but I make sure that we are not over-indulging. By adding oatmeal, broccoli, spinach, and American Ginseng in our diet we are keeping our blood sugar consistent and balanced.
American Ginseng has been used for years to promote healthy blood sugar levels, calm a nervous stomach, and maintain a healthy immune system. It helps with low energy by supporting healthy glucose levels. American Ginseng from Orange Naturals is one of my favorite supplements. Orange Naturals has also many other supplements that can help to balance blood sugar like Chromium, Alpha lipoic acid (ALA), and Cinnamon to name just a few.
I like to go around the Orange Naturals Blog, O Natural, to learn more about blood sugar and how to stay healthy and to discover new recipes. I am always learning something new with O Natural blog and O Natural newsletter.
What about your family? Are you trying to keep your consumption of sugar low? Let us know by following Orange Naturals on Twitter and by using the hashtag #ONatural.
Disclosure: I am part of the Orange Naturals Mom Ambassador Program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
