13 Ways to Become an Extreme Couponer
- You have to learn as much as you can about Couponing.
- You have to follow my blog and my Facebook Fan Page (LOL!)
- You have to collect as many coupons as possible.
- You have to find a way to organize your coupons. (Find what works for you!)
- You have to trade or give away the coupons that you don’t need.
- You have to study the market: rock-bottom price, sale cycles, etc.
- You have to stop comparing yourself to other couponers.
- You have to smile and be patient with yourself and others at the stores.
- You have to avoid grocery cart rage. (Haha!)
- You have to learn the coupon etiquette.
- You have to accept that some people won’t share your excitement.
- You have to stockpile your precious work.
- You have to have fun and be proud of every penny that you are saving.

I’ve done couponing in spurts, but haven’t done it nearly as much since moving to Alaska. They put far fewer coupons in the paper. However, I just discovered my favorite grocery store has the ability to load coupons to your customer loyalty card which has me using them more often.

I’ve started couponing at my grocery store with their app and it’s addicting. I’ve been looking through the newpapers and finding less and less things that I actually buy, so I need to use some of those tips!
