Cake pops are now so popular, you will most likely find some at the next birthday party you are invited to. Alongside with other fun cake recipes like this Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, cake pops look super festive on a dessert table.

How to Make the Galaxy Cake Pops

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Crumbled White Cake (about 12 cupcakes)
  • 1/3 cup White Frosting
  • 12 oz. White Chocolate Melts
  • 4 oz. Blue Chocolate Melts
  • 4 oz. Purple Chocolate Melts
  • 4 oz. Black Chocolate Melts
  • 12 Lollipop Sticks
  • Silver Sugar Crystals Sprinkles
  • Tiny Gold Star Sprinkles

Directions

  1. Mix the frosting into the crumbled cake until well combined.
  2. Roll the cake mixture into about 2-inch balls and set on a parchment lined baking sheet. You should get about 12 balls.
  3. Melt the white chocolate according to package directions and dip the end of each lollipop stick into it. Push the chocolate end of each stick into a cake ball and set them in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
  4. Melt each of the other colors of chocolates in separate bowls per package directions.
  5. Drizzle some of each color chocolate over the top of the melted white chocolate.
  6. Dip a cake pop into the chocolate and coat it completely. Sprinkle it with the stars or silver sugar.
  7. You can set it down on the tray to dry, but if you don’t want a flat edge, push the stick into a foam block so it’ll dry upright.
  8. Repeat steps 5 & 6 with each cake pop.
  9. Let the cake pops set until the chocolate hardens and then enjoy!

Tricks of the trade: For this recipe I used this 3 Piece Baking Gift Set that my husband gave me. He is so good to me!
