Disney on Ice Treasure Trove was everything we were expecting and more! The magic began with the characters of Toy Story followed by Alice in Wonderland. We enjoyed watching the story unfold with Alice, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, and her card guards. We also loved watching Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, the Lost Boys, and Tinker Bell. Seeing Tinker Bell flying around was truly magical.
The Lion King was in my opinion the strongest and most heart-felt performance of the show. Nala and Simba falling in love in the “Can you feel the love tonight” scene was breathtaking and even got me tearing up. It looked so real that it made us completely forget about the performers. This was pure Disney magic.
The beauty of Snow White, the smile of Jasmine, and the performances of Ariel and Sebastian were unforgettable . The glowing neon fish costumes and the bright color of Sebastian’s shell were remarkable. Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled got us laughing and the energy of Princess Tiana was truly contagious. What a gorgeous and strong performer! It was also a lot of fun to see Minnie, Mickey, Donald and Goofy appearing between performances to introduce us to the next story.
At the end, the princesses all came out with their princes in a breathtaking grand finale performed on Someday My Prince Will Come. Our Disney On Ice experience has definitely created lasting memories that we will share with our family and friends. Treasure Trove was one of the best live performances we have seen.
