I am in awe of Spring and all it’s wonders. Spring months are sunny and blossoming of natural beauty. Spring and Easter have so much in common- they represent the rebirth of nature and the promise of new life. Easter celebrates Jesus Christ’s resurrection after his death. Many families celebrate Easter by going to church, getting together over a meal, and decorating Easter eggs. Eggs of all types are an important part of Easter. They also represent the rebirth of nature in the Spring and the resurrection of Christ.
Easter is the perfect time to visit family and friends and to spend time in the kitchen. I love baking and preparing festive dishes during Easter. I enjoy hosting an Easter brunch every year with my family-favorite recipes, including breakfast casseroles, ham, deviled eggs, and desserts of all sorts. I also like trying different recipes from my fellow bloggers, like this Easter Nest Cookies by Mom vs The Boys and this Easter Brunch – Quiche with Phyllo Crust by Mmm is for Mommy. This week I will try these Easter Bunny Cupcakes by Moms and Munchkins and these Lemon Coconut Chick Cupcakes by Frugal Mom Eh. Yum!
