Slow cookers have been around for a very long time. Their popularity is not surprising because they are so handy and easy to use.
When I want to make a big batch of something to eat through the week I always think of my slow cooker. I love using my slow cooker because I don’t have to keep an eye on it and it is energy-efficient.
This week I tried the Carolyn’s Boozy Naked Beans from the Easy Everyday Slow Cooker Recipes Cookbook. I made this delicious recipe with white pea beans, pineapple, molasses, brown sugar, dry mustard, and salt pork. This recipe also included rum but I decided not to add it.
In the Everyday Slow Cooker Recipes Cookbook you will find 200 recipes that are easy to do and to experiment with. Some recipes require a few extra minutes of preparation but all the recipes have been created with convenience in mind. Along with the recipes, there are also extensive handy slow cooker tips and time-savers, as well as information on general slow cooker know-how.
