Family fun at the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament #MTFAN
We were completely blown away from the moment we stepped in the castle. The ambiance is phenomenal and the staff treated us like royalty. We were given a crown and the King and the Princess welcomed us into their castle. They even took the time to talk to us about their lives in the castle.
Shortly after, it was the time to bring our children to the Junior Knight Training. Free with every child admission, the knight training taught our kids about the grueling training it takes to become a knight. It was really exciting to watch our little ones in the sand alongside the valiant knights. The weapons demonstration by the Knights and the weapons master was really impressive.
After being seated and waiting for the tournament to start, we couldn’t wait to try the King’s feast. Medieval Times is an exciting, family-friendly dinner attraction inspired by an 11th century feast and tournament. Our wench served us a four-course banquet which was absolutely delicious. Utensils were not used in the 11th century so we had to eat with our hands! It was memorable!
When the tournament started we couldn’t help it but to cheer loudly for our knight. While eating we enjoyed sword-fighting, jousting and displays of extraordinary horsemanship and falconry as part of a touching story set in Medieval Spain.
I was not expecting to feel so much excitement and to cheer for our knight as much as I did. We were bracing at times, hoping nobody would get hurt. This experience was truly magical and we want to go back as soon as possible. Everything about Medieval Times dinner and tournament was exciting. The staff were friendly and they made sure to keep us safe at all times. We also saw how much they care about their beautiful horses after the show. We didn’t want to leave! We were the last guests to leave the castle.
