Food Basics I Want it All Winners
Last summer, I shared with you a really fun contest called Food Basics I Want it All. We asked you to share a video answering the question “if you won free groceries for a year, what would you do with the extra money?”. All responses acted as an entry into the contest and participants had a chance to win 1 of 3 free groceries for a year prizes.
When selecting the winners, Food Basics realized that their customers were not asking for much in their video submissions. So guess what? The team decided to keep rewarding their customers into 2017 by fulfilling the wishes of their customers! In this holiday campaign, they will surprise 6 shoppers with their wishes. The winners will think that they won a holiday shopping spree but in-fact, they have won much more. Believe it or not, they will be surprised with their wish from this summer’s contest! Whether their customers shop in stores because they want to, or because they need to, they think that everyone deserves to Have it All.
Here is the full listing of the winners, their wish and their prize:
Darlene Mallette from Toledo – She’d visit her grandkids in BC. $1,500 travel gift card to help make her trip a reality.
Linda Turcotte & her husband from North Bay – They’d take a trip for their 50th anniversary. $5,000 travel card to put towards their trip.
Farid Taileb from North York – He would go see his parents for the first time in 5 years. $4,000 travel voucher to bring his parents to visit Canada.
Andree Uhlig from Oakville – She’d hire a cleaning lady to help with the house work. One year of Molly Maid Service.
Stephanie Chiasson from Val Caron – Her son would play hockey and she’d save for his education.
New hockey equipment, sign-up fees for a local team, tickets to a Sudbury Wolves game, a Sudbury
Wolves jersey and $1,000 towards her son’s RESP.
Susana Fernandez & her husband from Hamilton – They’d go on a honeymoon after 23 years of marriage
$5,000 travel gift card and new luggage.
Congratulations to all the winners! Keep shopping at Food Basics because their products are always fresh, always in-stock and always at a great price – without compromising. Having access to quality, fresh food is one of the many ways you can truly Have it All.
WAIT! THAT’S NOT ALL! Food Basics is so grateful for every single customer so they decided to offer you an additional chance to win a prize- a $250 Food Basics Gift Card! Yes! Good luck everyone! This giveaway is open to Ontario Residents only.
