Get Back to School with Netflix #streamteam
We are officially back to school! After a few weeks of preparation and planning, my kids are now back to school and happy to be.
Our summer was so much fun and filled with activities that we didn’t feel like getting back in the swing of things. To help our children get excited about going back to school, we drove to their school to see the new playground, we sang alphabet songs on a daily basis and we were fully available for them to talk about their concerns and answer all their questions. Last week, we started to watch Monster Math Squad and Animal ABCs on Netflix to help us with our back to school transition. These two shows focuses on reading and math.
Animal ABCs introduces preschoolers to the alphabet with songs about the amazing animal kingdom, from creatures that are cute and cuddly to the wild and wonderful.
In Monster Math Squad, Max, Lily and Goo love to put their minds together and use their math skills to overcome any obstacle, even ones with two left feet or ten thumbs.
To keep the creative juices flowing after school, my children created these cute rice krispies squares. We made them from scratch with butter, marshmallows and rice krispies. My children really enjoyed mixing the yummy mixture and to decorate them with icing and sprinkles.
