Halloween Rice Krispies

We can’t believe that Halloween is almost here! My kids have been talking about Halloween for months, and it’s finally time to get them costumes.

My children asked me to find really different costumes this year. They want to dress up as Spy Kids! Do you know the Spy Kids? The Spy Kids are twins, stepchildren of Organization of Super Spies agent Marissa Wilson (Jessica Alba). It is a really fun and mysterious movie with a lot of fantasy-action adventure and a nine months pregnant Marissa leading a team of agents. This movie underscores the importance of family, and other great values. We watched it a few weeks ago on Netflix and have been watching it over and over again.

While waiting for Halloween to come, we have been doing crafts, paintings and fun recipes. We made these cute Halloween Rice Krispies covered with a butter icing and Sprinkles. These are the perfect treat and an amazing way to decorate your table for a Halloween party.

To make them you will need some homemade Rice Krispies, icing, sprinkles and pop sticks.

Instructions: Apply the icing with a rubber spatula or a knife and applied the sprinkles. After inserting the sticks, put your Rice Krispies in the freezer for a few minutes. Enjoy!

Halloween is almost here!

I had so much fun taking my kids out for Halloween. Now, I live alone outside the town’s limit, so I don’ t see any Trick or Treaters. My daughters do send me cute pictures of the grandchildren in their costumes 🙂

Oh that’s a cute idea that really makes them look divine and so appropriate for the season.I love that we can use the stick for the little ones to hold them because rice crispies can be quite sticky on the fingers.Thank you for this recipe.
