How to Train Your Dragon 2 family movie night
As I am writing this, we are in full preparation for our upcoming How to Train Your Dragon 2 family movie night!
We have been preparing dragon foods and fun dragon related activities for our movie night. My children have been really busy creating the cutest dragon marshmallow pops. They are so easy to do and quite delicious to eat. “Dragons are yummy in my tummy” says my daughter.
Give it a try, you will see that it is definitely yummy! All you need is creativity, marshmallows, icing and candies. And guess which candies I used? You got it right, Halloween candies! Don’t try to make your dragon marshmallow pops perfect, it’s all about fun!
We also created this nice and very friendly dragon to prepare for our How to Train Your Dragon 2 family movie night on Friday, November 14. Using egg cartons to make crafts is always a hit in my house. They are so fun to paint and to glue together! All you need to create your own dragon egg carton craft is an egg carton, some paint, craft paper, scissors, and glue or masking tape.
Can you believe that it has been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of Berk? While Astrid, Snotlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island’s new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. We can’t wait for their next adventure!
Connect with How To Train Your Dragon on Facebook and on Twitter using #DragonsMovieNight and get ready for your own How to Train Your Dragon 2 family movie night! HTTYD2 will hit the stores on DVD and Blu-ray on November 11 2014. We will all host our party on the same day, November 14. Don’t forget!
