Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks

Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks

When we first stepped in Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks we had to take a look twice to make sure our eyes were not playing a trick on us. Behind the welcome desk was a really nice lady and a not so real person. Haha! Already, just by the look at the wax figure sitting in front of us, we knew this was going to be a very interesting visit.

This incredible English Tudor style building is home to over 100 life-like wax figures from around the world. Organized by themed galleries, we were thrown back to our teenage years when we walked towards Micheal’s J. Fox and his DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future trilogy.

Following the path, we noticed a room full of celebrities staring right at us. What a weird feeling! Amongst these incredable wax figures we could immediately recognize Madonna, Celine Dion, Eddie Murphy, Britney Spears, Jennifer Anniston, and Angelina Jolie. Some of our favourite wax figures were Arnold Schwarzenenegger, Prince William, Cat woman, Batman, Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie, and the characters from Harry Potter. We were also surprised to see John Lennon and Yoko Ono in bed!

No matter how young or how old you are, you will definitely find many amazing wax figures that will fascinate you. We will return again in the near future as they add new wax figures all the time. Every single one is a gorgeous masterpiece made by wax artists. They look so realistic! You feel like they are really looking at you and that they will start moving.

Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks is a great attraction located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is one of the many Ripley’s Believe It or Not! attractions. To find out more about the weirdest things on this planet visit Ripley’s Facebook Page and follow Ripley’s on Twitter.

Wax museums are so cool – just imagine all the work that goes into creating something like that, and the attention to detail!

I can barely draw a stick figure and there are people out there making insanely realistic figures out of wax. I can see why you had to do a double take. The figures are so lifelike.

That is one museum I always have to go and visit when I’m in Niagara, it’s the best and I love how they look so real, and I have to admit they look so much life like now than they did 20 years ago!! great place to go and the next best thing to the real person!!
