March Break Fun With Our Netflix Family Film Fest
March break is officially here!
After running around with our busy schedules, we are finally happy to be able to relax in our house. We can now slow down and do some fun and relaxing activities. One of our favorite things to do is to watch movies on Netflix. There are so many great movies that we can’t always agree on witch movie to watch first. No matter what, mommy and daddy are getting a well-deserved quiet time.
Here are some of the movies we have been watching.
Our suggestions for your younger children

- Turbo (Available March 12)
- Princess Lillifee and the Little Unicorn
- My Friend Bernard
- Moonbeam Bear and His Friends
- Happy Feet Two
- The Voyages of Young Dr. Doolittle
- Thomas & Friends: Creaky Cranky
- Dora The Explorer: Star Catcher
Our suggestions for your older children
- Akeelah and the Bee
- Gulliver’s Travels
- The Croods
- Antz
- Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events
- Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer
- Hugo
- National Treasure
Between two movies we also enjoy doing craft activities at home. I often purchase craft supplies on sale so we always have them handy. This weekend we did this cute daisy bracelet. We are planning on doing many more of them in different colours. Stay tuned for the tutorial on making this daisy bracelet.
No matter what you are doing during this March Break, make sure to enjoy every minute of it!
Disclaimer: I am a part of Netflix #StreamTeam and I am loving it. Opinions are mine.
Turbo was such a cute move. I haven’t seen the others though. I’ll have to add them to my watch list.

My son loves Netflix. He watches something on it just about every night. It’s so convenient because we can access it on the Wii, XBOX and computers, so it’s always available.
Great picks for the little ones! Mine needs to get just a little older (a year or two). Until then, we are sticking to Baby Einstein.
We have been watching a lot of Netflix because of the cold this winter. My 2 year old Loves Mulan.

We’ve had Netflix for years and don’t see ourselves getting rid of it any time soon. My daughter is heading off to college so that may be the only TV she can watch and it’s all she watches right now anyway. Those are some great collections and my toddler is in love with the Croods. Ta-da-dah! 🙂
I haven’t seen a lot of those – I’m sure my niece will enjoy these things.
Our family is a big time Netflix user in this household too. I love the different TV shows and movies that you can watch that otherwise one would never hear of. Very cute bracelet!
Sounds like you’ve got a fun week planned! We really enjoy Netflix when we do have time to watch TV. It’s nice to no have commercials and to have so many different options.
