We are getting super excited to celebrate the Super Bowl coming up in a few weeks. This year we will be hosting friends for an evening of food and fun. We absolutely love to entertain both adults and kids.

My goal for our get together is to create a fun atmosphere for everyone. This includes creating fabulous football-themed party foods like these Football Cupcakes. I know for sure that and your guests will go crazy for these fun cupcakes!

Yields: 12 cupcakes

Before you start decorating, ensure that all of your cupcakes are cool to the touch.

Begin by making your “grass” buttercream. With an electric mixer, add butter, confectioners’ sugar and milk. Beat on low, gradually increasing it to high.

Once the ingredients are well-combined and smooth, add green gel food coloring and mix until completely tinted.

Assemble your frosting bag so that it has Wilton tip #233 and scoop your buttercream frosting into it.

Frost each cupcake so that it looks like grass.
