We spent our last day in North of Boston in Salisbury. It took us about an hour to drive from Gloucester to Salisbury. Salisbury is a vibrant coastal beach town with a beautiful long sandy beach. It is one of the oldest towns in Massachusetts.
A huge thanks to North of Boston and Salisbury for hosting us on this press trip. As always, all opinions are entirely mine.
We started our visit by stopping at Joe’s Playland. Let me tell you that this was the highlight of the day. Established over 100 years ago on Salisbury Beach, Joe’s Playland is a family run entertainment center for small and big kids. Ha ha!
Everyone was so nice, we felt like a part of the family. I loved the fact that it was clean and very well-lit. It felt like a safe place to bring little kids and not lose them.
We loved the classics and all the newest games. With two locations there were hundreds of games to choose from.
Our favourite games were The Fast and the Furious and the claw machines. The claw machines were really easy to operate and we got something almost every time.
We use the swipe cards for most of the games but we also used quarters. It was so much fun to see the paper tickets coming out non stop.
I must say that it was a very lucky day. We accumulated the most tickets ever. Good thing the redemption center was overwhelmingly huge! The kids had the time of their lives. They are still talking about it today.
After all that excitement, we went to Seaglass Restaurant & Lounge to have lunch. Seaglass Restaurant & Lounge is located in the Blue Ocean Event Center which features event spaces, private rooms and a lounge.
The view from the Seaglass Restaurant & Lounge was spectacular. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic ocean views of the Atlantic Ocean.
We ordered the lobster tacos, the lobster scampi and the kids had burgers.
We were planning to enjoy Salisbury Beach after lunch but then it rained pretty hard.
We still got the chance to quickly check out the boardwalk and some stores near by. We definitely need to go back, the kids would love to ride the waves.
This was the last day of our adventure in North of Boston. We were really sad to leave such a beautiful place with such nice and friendly people. We felt so much at home that it was very difficult to say good-bye.
Hope to see you again soon North of Boston. xo

Looks like a fun place to visit. I think my favorite part would be the arcade.
