How to Organize your Coupons
There are no right or wrong way to organize your coupons. You only have to find what is working the best for you.
You can try these different methods when using binders, envelopes, boxes and filling cabinets:
Alphabetically
I personally like to sort my coupons alphabetically. I use the brand name of the products to file them. For example, if I have a coupon for Kraft shredded cheese I will file it under “K” for Kraft.
Categories
Many people organize their coupons by categories: grocery, health and beauty, cleaning products, paper products, etc. Set up your files to reflect different categories or departments in your store. Page dividers are useful for organizing your binder by categories. They will allow you to find what you are looking for quickly.
Expiration Date
Some couponers file their coupons by expiration date. I personally tried this method when I started couponing. Once you have a lot of coupons, this method might not be the easiest one.
No matter which filling system you are using, it is usually a good idea to have an extra envelope or binder containing the coupons that you are planning to use during your couponing trips. In the beginning it might not be a problem, but in a few weeks, your binder will be heavy.
I bow to you. The only way I organize my coupons is I don’t. And then I forget to use them.
Those are some good tips, Thank You, for sharing them with us.
