We are all so busy with our lives. Taking care of the house, the kids, going to work, to school, etc. It is exhausting. Physically and mentally exhausting. The stress of having to do so much in one day can be very difficult to manage. Thankfully, I know just what do to to help reduce my stress level.
Practice Mindfulness Every Day
We all know that art therapy is effective in reducing stress. It definitely works for me. I love colouring, drawing and also doing puzzles as it helps me to relax. I allow myself to colour mindfully without worrying about which colours to choose. I focus completely on the colouring books I have in front of me, purposely keeping my mind in the present. It feels really good!
These fun puzzles, colouring books, and calming candles from Hallmark are truly amazing. Just looking at them makes me feel better maybe because they are so pretty and I can already predict how relaxed they are going to make me feel. I think the adult coloring pages are so nice even before they are coloured in and I definitely think it’s a great way for adults to be creative and relax
I used to love colouring as a child, so I think it would be great to try it again as an adult – very meditative and peaceful.
So are the jigsaws ones that you colour yourself? I haven’t understood those.

I seriously love that adult colouring is making it’s way to mainstream and there are so many awesome adult colouring books out there now! It really does help to relax and de-stress. 🙂
