The Holiday being such a busy and stressful time, it is always nice to be able to rely on a easy and simple appetizer to entertain your guests at home. This Smoked Mussels Appetizer made with Tostitos Scoops! can’t get any easier.

These crunchy tortilla chips shaped like little bowls can hold salsa like no other chip. Delicious and light tasting, they’re made from the goodness of whole grain corn. These yummy and wonderfully delicious tortilla bowls are perfect to create the most amazing appetizers including my Smoked Mussels Appetizer. Mussels are such a great source of omega-3 and iron, and they are the perfect complement for Tostitos Scoops! and any other Tostitos tortilla chips.

Ingredients

24 Tostitos Scoops!
1/4 cup cream cheese
24 smoked mussels
Fresh cracked pepper to taste
Hot Red pepper flakes

Instructions

Place Tostitos Scoops! on a plate and spread cream cheese on each one of them. Place one smoked mussel on each Tostitos Scoop. Sprinkle hot red pepper flakes and add some cracked fresh pepper over each scoop.

Voilà! Bon appétit!
