St. Patrick’s Day Free Printable
Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day has always been a family tradition. We enjoy decorating our home and read Irish blessings with the kids. We are not Irish but we definitely love to join the festivities.
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated every year on March 17th and it is customary to wear green and gold clothing and accessories that day. You will also notice everywhere the National Flower of Ireland, the Shamrock, a three leaf plant that is an Irish Catholic symbol of the Holy Trinity.
It is really fun to visit Irish pubs on St. Patrick’s Day but also on any other day. Many pubs have live bands that will get you dancing until the next morning. Hehe! St Patrick’s Day is a lot of fun but it is important to remember that it is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and prayers. To celebrate this spiritual day, I created this St. Patrick’s Day Free Printable harboring my favorite Irish blessing: “May your day be touched by a bit of Irish luck, brightened by a song in your heart, and warmed by the smiles of the people you love”.

I printed this yesterday when my son was working on some St. Patty’s day craft. I read it to him and he said he likes it so much he wants me to put it on his bedroom wall for him!

I think my son’s SK teacher would be interested in this. 🙂 I’ll pass it onto her.
