Summer fun at Centreville The Flying Couponer

Summer Fun at Centreville

What an amazing time we had today at Centreville Amusement Park. It is such a great place to visit with the whole family. We love visiting Centreville every year, sometimes even twice a year. We like to go at the beginning of the season and return during the summer months.

Summer fun at Centreville Ferry

Centreville is an amusement park located on Centre Island in Toronto. The fun begins right from the start with a Toronto Island Ferry ride! To cross over to Centre Island, you will enjoy a majestic ferry ride on Lake Ontario. Make sure to bring your cameras as the view is breathtaking and the atmosphere is festive.

It is super easy to get from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, at the foot of Bay Street at Queens Quay to Centreville Amusement Park on Centre Island. The ferry services are wheel chair accessible and there are lots of seats.

Centreville Amusement Park is really family oriented. There is something for everyone to enjoy. I like that there are a lot of places to sit close to the rides and that there are many picnic tables. The rides and the new coaster called Toronto Island Mine Coaster was a huge hit with my kids. I personally had a blast colliding with my husband’s bumper car and getting push around by my children’s bumper cars. I felt like an 8 year old again.

Summer fun at Centreville Splash

There is no general admission fee to Centreville, including Far Enough Farm which is where you can get to see animals and meet the farmers. There are many new animals to see this year. We were all really excited! If you would like to enjoy the rides, I suggest that you buy your passes online to save money. Also sheet ride tickets are available to purchase at the gate. These sheet ride tickets are perfect if you only want to try a few rides or if you want to cut down on expenses. I like that Centreville Amusement Park is affordable and that you can also save money by bringing your own food and drinks.

We are planning to go back for the Centreville’s annual KidsFest which will take place on July 3, 4, 5. There are going to be free activities and lots of fun! We can’t wait for more summer fun at Centreville.

I have wanted to go to Centreville Island for a while now. Even tho my husband and I are older and we have no kids, I think it would still be fun to go just to visit and walk around and I love exploring new things. Not sure if we will make it this year, but hopefully we can plan on it for next year. I’d love to go and ride the ferry boat. Looks awesome!

Love Centreville! Last time I was home with my husband and kids, we went twice to Centreville during our week long stay. I still remember going as a child and have such fond memories.
