This is it! Target first Canadian stores are open!

I  had the chance to visit the Milton location today.  It is a very nice store with beautiful merchandise and tonnes of people. I have to admit that I went around the store very quickly as I didn’t want to stay long and wait in line to check out. LOL. Some aisles are fairly narrow. I got stuck with an other cart coming the other way.  Our two carts were side to side. Impossible to go anywhere.

I was hoping to get a few good deals or any door crasher items but I didn’t see any. I thought it was quite surprising, but it gives us an honest indication of what is coming. Just like in the United States, their merchandise are unique but they come with a higher price than other retailers we know, not to mention Walmart. Hehe! We know that Walmart have been preparing for this day for a very long time now. They have been offering many items for $1.00 hoping to keep customers coming. That being said,  it  is most likely that Target will undercut their competitors. Its buying power is the greatest in Canada.

I noticed many of these Temporary Price Cuts. Price cut already? Only %10? Overall, for now, all the items I usually buy were more expensive at Target. Today was only to sneak a peek. The Grand Opening will be in April. All I can say at this point is that I can’t wait to see more of Target, especially their coupons!
