Unexpected Places to Find Coupons

With more and more of us looking to save money, coupons are now everywhere! The couponing world has changed so much in the last few years, especially with all the great apps that are now available. While going through all these exciting changes, don’t forget that there are also many unexpected places to find coupons. Check out this list of surprising places to find coupons!

Unexpected Places to Find Coupons

McDonalds. This week I ordered 2 garden salads and a chicken wrap at the drive thru and I was asked to park and wait as the chicken wrap was not ready. They gave me this Free Small Fries coupon to thank me for waiting.

Bulletin Board. Check the bulletin board at the grocery stores. Many couponers (like myself!) will pin coupons for other to use. Love the couponing community!

Unexpected Places to Find Coupons

Dentist. I am always looking forward my next dentist appointment. Dentists have coupons for toothpaste and other oral care products. Just ask the dental assistant or the dentist.

Phone Books. There are coupons at the back of your phone books for local businesses and restaurants.

Fairs and festivals. Fairs and festivals are often free of charge and are a great way to get coupons and samples.  Many business are participating in Fairs and Festivals to advertise their products and services.

Tourist Centers. Tourist Centres are filled with great coupons and other specials that will make you save a lot of money.

Candian Tire. Yes, really, Canadian Tire! Next time you visit a Canadian Tire location, make sure to look around for tear pad coupons. I found Armor All tear pad coupons this week.

Receipt. Always have a look at your receipts. Some stores like Target and Micheal’s offer additional coupons on their receipts. This type of coupon is called Catalina and is too often overlooked because they look like advertisement.

Do you know any other unexpected places to find coupons?

Cereal was just on sale at CVS for 2/$4. I had 2x.75 and 2x 1.25 coupons. I paid $1 a box. Normally they ar over $4 a box. Why would I ever pay that?
    thanks,
    Mitch
