Over the last 3 months we made conscious efforts to stay healthy. We set small and achievable wellness goals and took new steps towards a healthier lifestyle. It was not always easy. We had a few setbacks but we tried our best to stay on track. Overall, I think that we did an amazing job.
My Wellness Goals: Results Are In!
One of the most important goals for us was to drink more water. Overall, I am happy to say that we exceeded our goal. I enjoyed drinking my favourite Nestlé Pure Life sparkling carbonated water every day and I always made sure to have a bottle of water on hand.
Our second was to laugh more often and we did! We laughed a lot more than usual and we also watched more comedy movies. It was definitely very nice to laugh so much, it made us less stressed and we felt a lot happier.
We also had the goal of walking more. We did walk more! A lot more! It was actually really nice to take walks around the neighborhood. We also walked to the grocery store a few times.
Our most challenging goal was to sleep earlier. We ended up setting the kids’ bedtime at 20h00 and our bedtime at 23h00. I am glad to say that we did it! Our new bedtime keep us happy and full of energy. We are definitely enjoying all the benefits of a regular bedtime.
