Easy craft for kids: DIY Mother’s Day Flowers

I don’t know any mom that would not like to receive this easy craft for kids, DIY Mother’s Day flowers. This is definitely one of the most precious gifts that a mom can get and cherish forever. When I look back at all the crafts my kids made for me, I can’t believe how fast they have grown. I keep them all  and I occasionally hang them on the walls. After all, they make perfect art work to decorate my house.

DIY Mother’s Day Flowers

This DIY Mother’s Day flowers are perfect for any mom because it will make them smile and even shed a few happy tears.

Supplies that you will need:

Finger painting paint for the flowers

Craft paper for the background

Cardstock for handprints

Paint brush

Glue

Instructions:

To make the handprints you have to coat one hand of each kid with paint. Use both hands if you have one kid. Ask your kids to press their hands on a cardstock at different levels.  Have them wipe off the paint with a wipe or wash their hands if you want make other flowers with with different colours. My kids like to cover their hands with paint themselves. It’s really fun (and messy!) to play with finger paint. Thankfully, it is super easy to clean afterwards.

Once you are finished with the flowers, take a brush to paint green stems. Ta-dah, here is your DIY Mother’s Day flowers. You can also make a vase of any shape with craft paper, paint it, and glue it to your flowers. How precious!
