Apple crumble Recipe
The pleasure of baking an apple crumble goes far beyond the recipe. It starts from picking your favourite apples and proudly bringing them back home. Growing up, we didn’t have to go too far to pick our apples, our backyard was filled with the most gorgeous apple trees. Apple picking season being almost here, I could not to resist but to take a head start by baking my favourite apple crumble. This simple traditional apple crumble recipe is really easy to make and will leave you wanting more.
Ingredients
6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup butter, softened
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
Grease a square glass baking dish with butter.
Layer apples in baking dish.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and sprinkle evenly over top of the apples.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve at room temperature. For some extra yumminess, you will want to top it off with vanilla ice cream.
