No-Bake Chocolate Bird's Nest Cookies

No-Bake Chocolate Bird’s Nest Cookies

I have loved chocolate for as long as I can remember. When I craved for something sweet,  I would take my mom’s chocolate baking bars from the pantry and hide to eat them. Even now, I could not possibly pass on any chocolate desserts. Why would I? Read my post why I eat chocolate cake if you want to learn more about my chocolate addiction. It’s now time to make our cookies! Are you ready to eat all that yummy chocolate? I sure am! These simple No-Bake Chocolate Bird’s Nest Cookies are super easy to make. Try to make them with the kids this Spring or this Easter! I bet you that your whole family will enjoy them.

Ingredients: 2 cups pretzels, broken into little pieces

2 cups milk chocolate chips

Buttercream frosting

Green food coloring

Candy eggs Butter for coating

Directions: Take a muffin tin and coat each section generously with butter. Using the double boiler method, melt chocolate chips. Remove from heat and fold in pretzels. In clumps, place coated pretzels in muffin tin, forming the shape of a nest. Allow to cool completely for about one hour and remove from muffin tin. Frost the center and add candy eggs. Enjoy! Yum!

Kitchen tools you’ll find helpful

The muffin pan that I used to make the cookies is the Wilton Recipe Right Nonstick 12-Cup Regular Muffin Pan. It is a great muffin pan for a very good price. Another good option would be the Keliwa 12 Cup Silicone Muffin. Check out the reviews! I also used this mesuring cups and spoons set. I’m sure you will love this set as much as I do. I have a nice collection of treat and dessert recipes.
