RESP: The Gift of Education #HeritageeGifting

For many years now I have been telling my in-laws and friends to stop buying unnecessary items. Our house is filled with things and toys that our kids don’t even remember that they have. Growing up, my parents were always giving priority to educational gifts like books, pieces of arts, and kitchen items. I also received many first aid kits and survival items like flashlights and compasses. No joke! I received the gift of learning most of the time.

I must say that many family members always insist on buying toys because they like to see our kids’ reaction. I totally understand where they are coming from but at the same time I think that they could take this opportunity to invest in what really matters.

This is why this year I was super excited to tell my family about the Heritage Education Funds’ new eGifting Program. Last year no one was receptive about my idea of investing in the kids’ RESP but this year is completely different. They now know that it would be really easy for them to contribute to our children’s RESP because everything could be done online via FundRazr, Canada’s leading crowdfunding platform. The Heritage eGifting Program is powered by FundRazr, a safe and secure crowdfunding platform to help you grow your children’s post-secondary education fund. It’s easy, if you have a Heritage RESP, just log into your subscriber portal and click on the eGifting banner to start your campaign. Once you subscribe, you will receive a link to that can be easily shared with everyone. I am really excited that this year my children will receive what was given to me, the meaningful gift of education. Of course, I am not against other gifts like toys and video games, but the most part will go to their RESPs.

I hope that you will also think about giving this unique and convenient gift to your own kids and to all the little ones in your family. Heritage Education Funds is one of Canada’s leading providers of RESPs. You can’t go wrong with the gift of education.

The best thing you can give a child is an education…though they are expensive..start saving in an RESP as the government donates some also (in Canada)

When I see how many toys kids have these, way too many to play with, I think it’s a shame and wasteful too. So many have nothing or very little. I think that this is a great way to gift something that is really needed as education only gets more expensive but is essential to guarantee a well qualified future generation.
