Valentine’s Day Craft Ideas #PlayDoh
Love is in the air! Every Valentine’s Day I enjoy getting Play-Doh Valentine’s Bags for my children to give to their friends. They are so colorful and fun to give away. I have to admit that I always end up keeping one or two cans for myself. Haha! Each bag contains 15 one-ounce cans of different colors including red, pink and white, and comes with 15 label stickers to write the names of your Valentines.
This year we tried enhancing the tiny Play-Doh cans and turn them into flowers. Keep things simple by using paper that you have already in your house. We used paper, scissors, tape and of course one bag of Play-Doh Valentine bag. We made this two-tone flower by using the cans’ tops to trace the flower shape. We cut the second flower shape a little smaller to add on top of the first and then we taped them together.
We also decided to get creative by forming hearts of all sizes with Play-Doh and tooth picks. It is so much fun to use tooth picks to design and create small details. Just let your imagination go wild!
Chocolates and candies are good, but Play-Doh is a lot more fun, especially if your little ones bring their gifts to school as most schools ask parents to avoid giving edible gifts. It makes Play-Doh, the perfect choice to give out as Valentines’ Day treats. Buy your own bag of Play-Doh at Real Canadian Superstore, Atlantic Superstore, Walmart, Zellers, and ToysRUs Canada.
Notice: Play-Doh contains wheat and might cause allergic reactions in Children who are allergic to wheat gluten. Ages : 2 years and up.
