What is a Peelie Coupon?
You probably have noticed some kind of sticker glued to the item you were about to buy. This sticker is called a peelie because you have to peel it in order to use it.
I saw one today and I was immediately attracted to it. We usually get pretty excited when we see a peelie and that is exactly what it is for. Companies want to stimulate sales by creating a sense of excitement. As a well-trained couponer, *Ahem* I was able to control my excitement and to put back the Sun-Maid Raisin Bread on the shelf. To be honest with you, I would have probably bought the Sun-Maid Raisins Bread if the peelie was for the bread itself, but it wasn’t.
My advice? Stay on the lookout for peelies but think twice before buying on impulse.

I always try to keep my eyes peeled for these no matter what store I am in. I just have to try to remember to take them off and give to the cashier because sometimes we both miss them. LOL
