You must see The Lion Guard Return of the Roar. DVD review.

You must see The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar

Great news! The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar is now available on DVD. The story of Disney’s The Lion King continues with Kion, the second cub of Nala and Simba!

We have seen The Lion King on Disney on Ice and it has been one of our favourite Disney movies since. The song Circle of Life from The Lion King was composed by Elton John, and we had the opportunity to watch him perform it live during the Disneyland 60th-Anniversary Diamond Celebration. The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar now brings even more significance to The Circle of Life song with the birth of their second cub, Kion.

My DVD came with a fun Disney backpack pull!

Now the leader of  The Lion Guard,  Kion must bring together a team of animals that are in charge of preserving the Pride Lands. Along the way, you will see Kion form his unusual group of heroes: Beshte the hippo, Bunga the honey badger, Ono the egret, and Fuli the cheetah. They will bring you into an amazing journey as they try to maintain balance within the Circle of Life.

Many of our favourite characters from The Lion King appeared in the movie, including Mufasa, Pumbaa, Simba and Nala. We are delighted that The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar movie remains so faithful to the spirit of the original movie. The Lion Guard is an exciting sequel to Lion King II: Simba’s Pride which is a sequel to The Lion King. To confuse you even more, The Lion King is a prequel to Lion King II: Simba’s Pride. Get it? Circle? Lol. Regardless, it is all the same big furry happy family. While The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride is about Nala and Simba’s daughter Kiara, it is now time for Kion to continue the Circle of Life.
